The
Police Athletic League, established in 1958, has provided a safe
place for the youth of the Norwin and surrounding communities to
learn sports and sportsmanship. PAL Norwin is the largest baseball/softball organization in the Norwin community with approximately 1,000 boys and girls, and over 90 teams. We are excited to be entering our 53rd year at PAL and are honored to offer Baseball, Softball, Fastpitch Softball, Football, Cheerleading and Competition Cheerleading at
our excellently maintained six field, lighted complex, where ALL
baseball and softball home games are played (Little Knight Football
home games are played at Norwin High School Stadium), complete with
restroom facilities, a fully functional concession stand and large
meeting room. PAL has a very competitive in-house Baseball, Slow-pitch Softball and Fast-pitch Softball program with a large number of teams in each division. With the exception of Fast-pitch Softball, Pony and Colt Baseball, all other divisions will play all their in-house games at the PAL complex without travel to nearby communities for in-house games. The flood of 2009 completely wiped out our complex, but 2010 brought forth many changes. Our Shafton complex received many improvements. All six in-fields have been professionally upgraded, our concession area has been renovated, and the complex looks better than ever!
PAL has watched boys and girls from 5 years old to 19 years old grow
up and bring their own boys and girls back to PAL to learn the joy
of athletic competition and create friendships that will last a
lifetime. You and your children can also experience the joy of PAL
today.
